"Book Mel for your wedding! After some research into a humanist wedding we set up an introductory call with Mel to find out more details. She was very friendly and took a great interest in our story and what we wanted our wedding to be. We soon after opted for a humanist wedding. We found Mel to be very enthusiastic about how we met and the key points of our lives starting around six years ago. She clearly cares very much about the details. She is an excellent listener; when she sent us her draft for the ceremony there were details in there we didn’t even remember talking about. We were able to make the wedding our own by removing some quite common symbolic gestures to make the wedding we felt was ours; Mel was completely accommodating to making any changes we desired. We also received regular updates and check-ins as well as guidance on what was required to make the marriage official and legal. The ceremony itself was exactly what we wanted and so many of our guests told us they found it absolutely wonderful. We know that Mel played such a big part in this and we are so grateful. "Where do I begin? Mel is one of the nicest people I have ever met, she is absolutely amazing at her job and she done the most amazing job at keeping me calm on the day. Unfortunately due to a family bereavement we did have to postpone our first date as we did not submit our forms before the cut off, Mel tried everything she could to make it happen. We decided on our new date and me, Josh and Mel had regular meetings and planned our ceremony. It was wrote beautifully and on the day was everything we had dreamed of (minus the wind haha). She kept us on track with paperwork making sure we had everything done at the right time and always being available to answer any questions. Our ceremony was well planned, we love what she wrote for us and how it was delivered, and we loved how she catered for the children making sure they knew exactly what was expected of them and when they froze she offered support and made sure everything ran smoothly.
